Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 28-year-old Glendale Snead of Buffalo has been sentenced by State Supreme Court Justice John Michalski to 5 years of sex offender probation.
The Buffalo Police Department conducted an investigation after the victim filed a complaint with the department’s Special Victims Unit. A search warrant, issued on December 7, 2018, revealed sexually explicit images and videos of the victim on the defendant’s cell phone that were captured without the victim’s consent.
Snead was found guilty of four counts of Unlawful Surveillance in the Second Degree, Class “E” felonies. Judge Michalski rendered his verdict on December 4, 2019 after reserving decision following a three-day bench trial the previous month.
DA Flynn commends Detective Mark Costantino of the Buffalo Police Department Special Victims Unit for his work in the investigation.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Cathleen M. Roemer and Stephen C. Earnhart of the DA’s Special Victims Bureau.
