Smullen announces $30 million in new grant funding for 118th

Assemblyman Robert Smullen (R,C,Ref) is proud to announce that over $30 million has been awarded to organizations and localities within the 118th Assembly District. These funds will be received through Round 9 of the Regional Economic Development Council Awards.

“Since joining the Assembly, I have prioritized advocating for economic development in our district. This grant funding is critical to uplift our communities and invest in organizations and local governments dedicated to serving our residents. I want to congratulate all the recipients of this funding and I am so thrilled that the 118th District had such a strong showing in this latest REDC grant cycle.”

The breakdown of the funding throughout the 118th Assembly District is below:

  • Fulton County- $1,770,770
  • Hamilton County- $474,780
  • Herkimer County- $4,429,635
  • Oneida County- $19,240,170
  • St. Lawrence County- $4,326,691

Assemblyman Robert Smullen represents the 118th Assembly District, which includes Hamilton and Fulton counties as well as parts of Herkimer, Oneida, and St. Lawrence counties.
