Consider the history or Jackson, Lincoln, McKinley and FDR. http://www.wsj.com/…/trump-may-herald-a-new-political-order…

–Meanwhile, the New York Times profiles a fake news purveyor, a recent college grad who did well during the campaign exploiting his penchant for making things up and profiting. https://www.nytimes.com/…/fake-news-hillary-clinton-cameron…

–A story about insider trading and Rep. Chris Collins, first given legs weeks ago in the Daily Public by Alan Bedenko, was picked up today by the Buffalo News and became the topic of an NPR story on the confirmation hearing for Health and Human Services nominee Tom Price. http://www.npr.org/…/tom-price-hhs-nominee-faces-tough-ques…

–There has been a cut-and-paste status circulating about the impact of Obamacare repeal, but it lacked credible sourcing. Here’s NPR’s reporting on how large employer plans may change under the new administration. –A British Columbia “strata” board has been sued by a Fish and Chips shop for refusing to approve a Moby Dick restaurant in part because the name is offensive. You know, it contains “Dick”. http://www.cbc.ca/…/moby-dick-restaurant-name-vancouver-1.3…

–The Toronto Sun points out that if the Sabres could get their crap together, Auston Matthews and Jack Eichel could become the best rivalry the NHL has seen in years. http://www.torontosun.com/…/austn-matthews-jack-eichel-riva…
