Despite much criticism of Mayor Byron Brown’s three terms in office, he is considering a bid for a fourth term. City Comptroller Mark Schroeder has announced his intention to unseat the Mayor, and Preservation Board Member Terry Robinson is preparing to enter the race. County Legislator Betty Jean Grant continues to consider the contest, in the event that she is unable to persuade Common Council President Darius Pridgen to enter the race.
