The widely respected former State Senator Alfred T. Coppola is advocating for the restoration of an outer harbor lighthouse near the former Bethlehem Steel plant. Coppola, an elder statesman of local politics, has been asked to come out of retirement. He is contemplating a return to the State Senate.
