The Haudenosaunne Confederacy is the legitimate sovereign government of the Haudenosaunne people. Those chiefs, condoled under the Great Law of Peace, are party to largest outstanding land claim in Canadian history — valued at hundreds of billions of dollars — known as the Haldimand Tract, which was secured in the Haldimand Treaty of 1784.
