As a former resident of Siskiyou County (just outside of Yreka), I second that fact. There are a _lot_ of conservatives in the rural parts of Californica, but we have always been overwhelmed by the millions in the big cities. If California had an electoral college, it would be a whole different story. That is why the Dems want so badly to change that part of the Constitution (along with the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 10th amendments).
