Kathy Weppner, the former Republican nominee for Congress, has launched a podcast about current events and local politics. Weppner once hosted the weekend talkshow Kathy from Williamsville on WBEN, the local conservative talk radio station.
Station managers would be wise to add Weppner’s voice to its morning program, The Sandy Beach Show. Sandy Beach performs strongly among male retirees, but Weppner could expand the program’s audience broadly among women.
Women are an important daytime listening demographic, and Weppner comes with obvious brand consistency that fits well with the station. Adding Weppner to the morning program now would provide the station stability, in the event that Beach chooses to retire in the coming years.
She’s a raving idiot. She breathlessly buys into the most outlandish conspiracy theories. She is reckless and irresponsible.
