Magierski hones message with release of campaign video

Town Supervisor candidate Alice Magierski, a friendly and popular figure in Cheektowaga politics, has released a campaign video online and distributed via social media.

Magierski, the Town Clerk and Tax Receiver, faces Diane Benczkowski, a first term member of the Town Council and former school board member who received the Democratic Party endorsement.

The race is widely considered a toss up, and is expected to yield high turnout in the town’s traditionally factional Democratic Party primary. Magierski has been emphasizing her experience in town government, while Benczkowski has been promoting an outsider brand.
